Age Restrictions & Legal Prohibitions
In compliance with:
- Presidential Decree 1869 (PAGCOR Charter), as amended by Republic Act 9487
- Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 6, Series of 2016
- PAGCOR Responsible Gaming Guidelines
The following individuals are strictly prohibited from entering, accessing, or playing through any Juanbingo gaming channel, including the Juanbingo App:
- Government officials and employees directly connected with government operations
- Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP)
- Individuals below 21 years old
- Students of any school, college, or university in the Philippines
- Persons listed in the National Database of Restricted Persons (NDRP)
- Gaming Employment License (GEL) holders
Juanbingo strictly enforces these restrictions across all platforms.
When Gaming Stops Being Fun
Gaming is designed to be a form of entertainment. But for some individuals, it may begin to negatively affect their life, finances, emotions, and relationships. PAGCOR refers to this as problem gambling, which occurs when a person:
- Continues gambling despite harmful consequences
- Feels an uncontrollable urge to keep playing
- Wants to stop but struggles to do so
Common Warning Signs Include:
- Betting more money than intended
- Playing longer than planned
- Chasing losses
- Increasing debts or unpaid bills due to gambling
- Constantly thinking about gambling
- Borrowing or selling belongings to continue gambling
- Damaged relationships or broken trust
- Feelings of depression, anxiety, or hopelessness
- Significant negative impact on daily life
Problem gambling can affect emotional well-being, family dynamics, finances, and social relationships. Recognizing these signs early is crucial.
Need Help? PAGCOR Offers Exclusion Programs
If you or someone you know needs assistance, PAGCOR provides two (2) exclusion options to help individuals take a break from gambling:
1. Self-Exclusion Program
Players may voluntarily prohibit themselves from gaming for:
- 6 months
- 1 year
- Up to 5 years
2. Family Exclusion Program
Family members may apply on behalf of an individual for:
- 6 months
- 1 year
- Up to 3 years
